The inspiration
Q-Tortas works out of a 1960s building that started life as a Burger Q, and the owners kept the Q when they turned it into a torta shop . The spot has been a Placentia fixture for a long time, run as a family tradition rather than a chain operation1 . The idea is straightforward: traditional Mexican recipes and quality ingredients, with tortas front and center2 .
