The inspiration

Wolfe's Kitchen and Deli began as Wolfe's Market, a family grocery opened in 1917 by John D Wolfe^1,2 . John D Wolfe moved the business a short distance to its current spot on Foothill Boulevard because he liked the view of the nearby mountains, and the site sits along historic Route 66² .

Who's behind it

The business has passed down through four generations of the Wolfe family since 1917¹ . Tom Wolfe, the fourth-generation co-owner, led the decision to concentrate on the deli, and Jeff Clark, of the fifth generation, heads the kitchen^3,4 .
