Da Vien Coffee

The inspiration

Da Vien Coffee was born in 2021 out of founder Vinny Nguyen's own frustration: he wanted a good Vietnamese coffee and could not find one, so he built the shop he was looking for¹ . The name means ice cube in Vietnamese, a nod to the refreshing cup the brand aims for, with its coffee rooted in Vietnam's traditions and brewed the slow phin way using Robusta beans sourced from Vietnam^2,3 .

Who's behind it

Vinny Nguyen is the founder and owner, and he opened Da Vien after years of visiting Alhambra and the San Gabriel Valley, which drew him back for this expansion^1,4 .
